The CTL J4+ Chromebook for Education has a similar design and specifications as the J2, however, it includes 4GBRAM (the J2 has 2GB) and an IPS panel display for an enhanced viewing experience with wider viewing angles. IPS technology has improved upon traditional displays by increasing the flow of light between liquid crystal molecules to improve contrast, brightness and color definition, even at sharp angles.

Both the J2 and J4+ weigh just 2.4 lbs., which is about 20% lighter than other popular Chromebook models. At only .76’’ wide, these Chromebooks are easy to slip into a backpack or bookbag. The textured cover makes them easier to grip, which helps prevent accidental drops.
